Fulfilling Gods Will
Wikipedia’s definition of Fellowship:
The condition of sharing similar interests, ideals, or experiences, as by reason of profession, religion, or nationality.
The companionship of individuals in a congenial atmosphere and on equal terms.
A close association of friends or equals sharing similar interests.
“Fellowship is a relationship of inner unity among believers that expresses itself in outer co-participation with Christ and
one another in accomplishing God’s will on earth.”
After reading a lot of scriptures on fellowship. I find we are called to fellowship together.  I have learned that we are
to fellowship with God, Jesus, and the Spirit. God says we are to build up the body of Christ by fellowshipping with
other believers, bringing people to Christ is doing just that. This is our obligation!
Ya see, God never intended for us to be alone, Adam & Eve. And by our nature we are a social being and we gather
together. Not that gathering is bad we get to share knowledge and such. As we gather together we tend to gather in
groups of similar interests, Sports events, Music events and Religious reasons….
What I m speaking on is the Fellowship the gathering of Christian believers. This time together should build up
relationships therefore building the body of Christ.
Its not always that way. Churches have built Fellowship Halls; they have fellowship dinners, and even retreats. But very
few have true fellowship. Sharing God on an intimate level, trusting each other and sharing the knowledge we have
learned over the time spent apart. Like Bible studies.
I know we think of fellowship as hanging out together & being good. True it is a good thing but not true fellowship. For
this reason we must quit thinking of Christian fellowship as primarily doing things such as having pot luck dinners or
watching football or playing basketball with other believers.
There are so many benefits to fellowship. Just sit home one day and think of one thing. Write all of it down. Then go to
your library and see how many more can be answered. Pretty awesome! Just like fellowship all the answers are there for
you all we need to do is ask. God wants us to fellowship together, we know this and we have a place to do it, Church.
Funny how that came about. Just like any gathering you need a place to do it the Church is our place, Neat!
So if your not sharing Gods word or learning it. Are you taking away from the body of Christ? Yes you are! and I would
not want to be in those shoes. Fellowship, you see, is not just being together, it is doing together. When we share a
question in a fellowship we are realistically building the body of Christ we are in partnership with Christ in fulfilling
God’s will. NICE! This is what each follower of Christ should be doing.
God’s will is for every person to come to Christ, bottom line!
Gods way of accomplishing his plan is through the church.
To try to accomplish Gods plan alone will not work. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But together as
one body working for the same goal we can.
Take this in for a Minute:
Fellowship is like a symphony its beauty is impossible to capture in one note, Not to a solo, but a full orchestra playing
together then can the beautiful harmony be fully captured.
“Nobody says you need to practice fellowship, but just like anything worth doing you have to work at it”.
Act 2:44  And all the believers were together and had all things common. 45  And they sold possessions and goods and
distributed them to all, according as anyone had need. 46  And continuing steadfastly with one mind day by day in the
temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they shared food in gladness and simplicity of heart, 47  praising God,
and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to the assembly, the ones being saved from day to day.
Eph 3:8  This grace was given to me, I being less than the least of all the saints, to preach the gospel of the unsearchable
riches of Christ among the nations, 9  and to bring to light all, what is the fellowship of the mystery having been hidden
from eternity in God, the One creating all things through Jesus Christ, 10  so that now to the rulers and to the authorities
in the heavenlies might be made known through the assembly the manifold wisdom of God, 11  according to the eternal
purpose which He accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12  in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through
His faith.
This meaning the Church is the eternal plan.
It is only as we work together in this way that it is possible to accomplish God’s plan. This is why fellowship is
indispensable to the church.
1 Corinthians 12
Talks about the body and that every single member of the body of Christ is necessary, No one has the right to amputate
themselves from the functioning body of Christ.
Lets everyone practice fellowship naturally, that the wisdom of God might be made known through fellowshipping and
